Martin Imm's career in finance started with Prudential Capital where he spent twenty years in its Minneapolis, Boston, Chicago and London offices. While head of Prudential Capital's Regional Office in Chicago, the $500 MM portfolio was doubled, primarily by focusing on leveraged management buyout and recapitalization transactions where Prudential Capital provided both senior and subordinated mezzanine debt as well as equity. In London, he set up Prudential's first offshore investing organization and established its leadership role in the growing market for leveraged buyouts in Europe.
Following his tenure at Prudential Capital Martin assisted middle market companies, both nationally and internationally, to arrange senior debt, and mezzanine and equity financing for a variety of transactions, including recapitalizations, management buyouts, and acquisitions. After twelve years at Martin H. Imm & Associates in Salem, Massachusetts, he spent one year at Mesirow Financial in Chicago, seven years at Baldwin & Clarke Corporate Finance, and most recently, one year with TrustDesign (whose partners were founders of Exit Planning Exchange (XPX).
Martin received an AB degree in International Relations from Brown University and did graduate work at the University of Michigan, Graduate School of Business in Actuarial Science.
